MOUNT THE UNIT AT THE TOP OF THE DOOR IN THE THICK PART OF THE SOLID WOOD USING THE TWO MOUNTING HOLES ON THE UNIT. MOUNT THE UNIT A MINIMUM OF 2 INCHES FROM THE OUTSIDE EDGE OF THE DOOR (the outside edge is that part of the door extending into the room).
